Paper Sculpture I by nightface Paper Sculpture I by nightface
sculpture i did for a 3-d design professor at SCAD. its a good project for repetition and its also up for commission to anyone who pays. the sculpture will take anyform, almost by its self. made of vellum tubes and staples to hold it together. one of my favorite sculptures.

no, the tubes are connected together. if its held up, you can see through it, like a bee hive of sorts

I like this. It draws the viewer's eyes in an oscillation that makes at least one revolution before returning to the center. The left side of it draws the viewer's line of sight downward, and is pulled back up by the center.

i like this... it's kind of weird. it reminds me of how macaronni looks when you microwave it & all of the noodles point upwards.
